Retailers such as CVS, Walgreens, Walmart and a variety of smaller walk in clinic chains around the US offer discounted care. Some larger medical systems have also added walk-in clinics in retail stores, check if their rates are actually discounted or the same as their regular facilities. Low-Cost Clinics
The best bet for low-cost care may be telehealth or Doc In A Box. For conditions that require more hands-on care look for community clinics or sliding fee scale clinics to see if those might be a better option. If insurance is part of the problem, depending on your income, an ACA policy may give you sufficient insurance to see a doctor for free or at a low cost.
